Most Annoying Cliche (Critical Analysis #8)

The cliche I chose is from the football category, since it’s my most watched sport. The cliche that I dislike the most has to be “[QB’s name] has all day back there”. It seems like anytime a quarterback spends more than 4 seconds without throwing the ball he has “all day” to throw it. This saying is way overused and you hear it all the time. An announcer could say that he’s waiting to throw, or maybe that no one is open. They should provide a reason why he has “all day” to throw instead of just stating it.
