The Difficulty of Sports Writing (Critical Analysis #4)

For me and probably most people, the most difficult rule of sports writing is being objective. First, being a fan of a team your whole life and then not being able to cheer for them must be difficult. Secondly, not being able to show emotion for your team basically sucks all the fun out of watching sports. I would have to improve on this by slowly making myself more uncaring about the good and bad things that happen to my team.
